Meet Macy the sweet senior English Bulldog! Macy’s mom Ashley emailed me in late August with the sad news that Macy had been diagnosed with cancer. I wasn’t planning to return from maternity leave until October and already had October booked! But I was feeling good and couldn’t take the chance of trying to wait. We met up on a nice Saturday evening in September that was warm, but not too hot. Macy was quite excited and tuckered herself out pretty quickly, but not before we were able to capture some sweet moments of this gorgeous family together. Ashley and Shayne are so sweet and Macy is quite a lucky pup. She also has an adoring grandmother who now also has a sweet canvas of Macy and mom and dad hanging on her wall! I looooove that so many of my clients’ dogs are “grand-dogs” in the family! I was so happy to be able to photograph this sweet girl! And her tongue…can we talk about it? Soooo cute!
